Hi there,

Hayden Yung here. Need eyes on your child's progress without overpaying? I sincerely hope OST can do that and help your child get into a selective high school that inspires them to learn.

My tutors and I have helped thousands of students obtain the highest scores in the Selective High Schools Test, including 1st in NSW. During this time, we've seen ineffective approaches to a child’s academic progress. For instance, studying way too many hours and completing an absurd amount of questions - before fixing up mistakes and learning the concepts properly. As an aspiring writer (haydenaut.com), I oppose all approaches that kill your child’s personality and creativity. Why would anyone risk dulling two of a student's greatest assets?

In other words, your child should be enjoying the cerebral process of understanding a new concept or a mistake - efficiently. It’s not about parroting working-out or rote-learning from a whiteboard.

Also, there are hundreds of tutors and thousands of practice questions out there but the first key to success in this test is to understand your child's strengths and weaknesses, and the opportunities to improve realistically over the next months.

This will be a historic opportunity to come together and sit the largest ever, free selective schools trial test so that students can feel better equipped in the real test and less nervous. Hopefully, your child will benefit from this platform's free questions, reports and consultations. Success is never guaranteed but there are tangible initiatives that can maximise your child's results!

Kind regards,
